Sunprene™ is a flexible sealing component used in a wide range of applications, including homes, vehicles, and refrigerators. Sunprene™ is available in grades with antifungal agents and grades with excellent adhesion to ABS during co-extrusion. Furthermore, we can offer grade combinations not only for soft single-layer products but also for multi-layer products combining soft and hard materials.

Q. What is the difference between Sunprene™ and Vinika™?
A. Sunprene™ and Vinika™ are both polyvinyl chloride (PVC) materials, but they differ in design concept and properties.
Vinika™ is a vinyl compound based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC), a standard material with excellent moldability, oil resistance, and mechanical strength. It has been used for many years in a wide range of applications, including automotive parts, wire insulation, and building materials.
Sunprene™ is a PVC-based thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) that maintains the processability of PVC while achieving rubber-like flexibility and elasticity. It is suitable for applications requiring suppleness, a soft feel, and a matte finish.
