Silane crosslinkable resin
Linklon™

ABOUT

Linklon™ is a silane-crosslinkable resin (polyolefin) in which a crosslinking reaction proceeds using silane compounds introduced into the polymer.
Crosslinking significantly improves thermal, mechanical, and chemical properties.
It is used in insulating coatings for electrical wires, pipes for water supply and hot water supply, pipes for underfloor heating, and encapsulating materials for solar cells, etc.

Features of Linklon™

1. Good moldability

It can be molded under the same molding conditions as polyolefins.

2. Easy cross-linking process

Crosslinking readily occurs in environments that come into contact with moisture, such as in hot water or a high-temperature, high-humidity atmosphere.

3. Imparting functionality through the introduction of silane compounds.

It is possible to improve the performance and add functionality to polyolefins without compromising their physical properties.

・Thermal properties (heat resistance, high temperature mechanical properties, etc.)

• Mechanical properties (creep properties, wear resistance, etc.)

• Restoration properties (shape memory, etc.)

• Melting properties (high melt tension, etc.)

• Adhesive properties (glass bonding, etc.)

• Modification characteristics (e.g., dispersibility of inorganic substances)

4. Wide range of grades available

We offer a range of polyolefin-based grades suitable for various molding methods and applications.
