Because we manufacture both compounds and tubes in-house at the Silvassa plant, we can flexibly respond to requests for custom formulations. We have established a system to support the diverse design requirements of medical device manufacturers from the material stage, including specific hardness, color specifications, X-ray contrast agent addition, and peristaltic pump compatibility.

Medical-grade PVC compound

MCPP-IN's medical-grade PVC compounds offer a wide range of grades, from soft to hard, covering the main areas of medical disposables. For detailed property information, please see the product page.

Typical Use Cases

• Blood management: Blood bag sheets, connectors, tubing, bloodline sets

• Dialysis/blood circuit: pump tubing, BT chamber, dialyzer connector (blue/red)

Extracorporeal circulation: perfusion tube

• Catheters: Wide range of stiffness options, X-ray contrast compatible grades, etc.

• Intravenous fluid therapy: IV set, drip chamber, scalp vein, Luer lock

• Respiratory management: Cannula (flexible), mask, mask tube

Anesthesia and airway management: Endotracheal tube (ET tube), ET balloon, balloon tube

Sterilization and phthalate-free compatible

• Sterilization compatibility: Standard compliant with autoclave 121°C and ethylene oxide gas sterilization (EOG). Radioactive sterilization is also possible.

• Phthalate-free grades: Our standard lineup includes alternative plasticizer grades that are DEHP-free, supporting consideration of switching from existing grades. We also welcome proactive evaluations in anticipation of regulatory timelines.

For detailed specifications of each grade (grade name, hardness, specific gravity, tensile strength, elongation, and processing method), please refer to the grade list on the product website.

Examples of medical PVC applications

Antithrombotic PVC compound

PVC-AMP compound, which incorporatesAMPkey polymer (acrylic resin polymerization technology)uniquely developed by the Mitsubishi Chemical Group into PVC, is an innovative material that has the potential to ensure biocompatibility while eliminating the need for surface coating. This is expected to reduce process costs by eliminating the coating process and lower the risk of coating peeling. If you are interested, we can provide evaluation samples; please contact us.

Quality Assurance System

We sometimes hear concerns about the quality control of materials sourced from India.

However, MCPP-IN's Silvasa plant meets the quality control standards required of a medical device materials supplier.

Cleanroom manufacturing environment

All manufacturing operationsare conducted in a clean environment equivalent toISO 14644-1 Class8.

Our quality management system iscertified toISO 9001:2015andISO 13485:2016.

We ensure systematic quality control as required of a medical device materials supplier.

4M Change Management

We have a thorough change management system that covers Man (people), Machine (equipment), Material (materials), and Method (procedures).

Through a process of recording, evaluating, and approving all changes that may affect product quality, such as changes in material lots or equipment maintenance,

We minimize the risk of unexpected quality fluctuations.
