ABOUT
Compared to conventional polycarbonate resins (hereinafter referred to as PC resins) made from bisphenol A (hereinafter referred to as BPA), this new polymer boasts high transparency, excellent optical properties, and superior scratch resistance, exhibiting impact resistance comparable to that of PC resins. Although it is a plant-derived polymer, it is not a biodegradable polymer and possesses excellent durability, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including optical and energy-related components, high-performance glass substitutes, and housings and interior/exterior materials for electronic devices and automobiles.
